1. Keukenhof Gardens, Netherlands

Nicknamed the “Garden of Europe,” the Netherlands’ popular Keukenhof Gardens is considered one of the globe’s most famous flower spots. Millions of tulips along with daffodils and hyacinths carpet 79 acres each spring in an incredible rainbow of colors. The gardens are beautifully designed with lovely paths to walk along, theme gardens, and great photo spots.

2. France’s Provence

Provence’s famous lavender fields attract tourists from all over the world. Between the middle of June to the beginning of August, the rolling purple lavender blooms make for beautiful scenery in the areas of Valensole, Luberon, and Sault. The scent of lavender is present in the atmosphere, making it the perfect place for a relaxing and visually stimulating holiday experience.

3. Fuji Shibazakura Festival, Japan

Every spring in Japan is greeted with the Fuji Shibazakura Festival’s spectacular view. Numerous pink moss phlox, known as shibazakura, bloom in excess of 800,000 along the base of the iconic mountain, resulting in an impenetrable sea of pink, purple, and white flowers. The striking contrast between the bright-hued blooms against the whitetopped peak of Mount Fuji is breathtaking.

Washington State’s Festival of Tulips in Skagit Valley is every flower lover’s dream destination. 5. Hitachi Seaside Park, Japan

Hitachi Seaside Park in Japan is renowned for its hills of flowers that cover the landscape throughout the year. Springtime sees millions of blue nemophila, or “baby blue eyes,” cover the hills, forming a sea of blue on the horizon. 6. South Africa’s Namaqual

Namaqualand in South Africa is turned into a paradise of flowers every springtime as the semi-desert is abruptly colored with flowers of vibrant daisies, lilies, and other wildflowers during the months of August to October. 7. Carlsbad Flower Fields, USA

In Southern California, the Carlsbad Flower Fields are an extravaganza of ranunculus blooms that bloom from March to May. Wagon tours, specialty gardens, and views of the distant Pacific Ocean are included in the experience for the visitor.

8. Antelope Valley Poppy Reserve, USA

The Antelope Valley of California is home to the state flower of California, the California poppy. The preserve is covered with orange poppies starting February through May. The peak bloom is when the field is covered with an orange sea of blooms creating an awe-inspiring nature spectacle.
